During our laser-eye surgery recovery, we watched (well just listened, really) all of the Harry Potter movies from the beginning. It’s been ages since I’ve had a Harry Potter marathon. The last time was when I got my wisdom teeth out in high school.
After finishing the films, and acquiring a kindle, I was inspired to reread the books. I’m currently finishing up The Goblet of Fire, and I’m rather inspired to try out some Harry Potter inspired recipes.
Back when I first started reading the books in grade 6, I was obsessed (still am). I spent hours on Mugglenet, immersing myself in the world of Harry Potter from the comfort of my computer room. The website had recipes for lots of wizarding treats, a few of which I tried out. None of them worked out too well, unfortunately.
But I’m coming at you with this delicious recipe, for fans and losers, I mean, non-fans, alike. Even if you aren’t still waiting on your Hogwarts letter, you can appreciate the perfection of this cinnamony-apply-perfect-for-autumn-and-holidays pumpkin concoction.
